Sick of Granny Jojo's ugly gifts, Nicole encourages the kids to take matters into their own hands and accidentally break her latest hideous vase. But when Gumball, Darwin and Anais try to destroy it, they discover it is more robust than it seems.
The episode starts with Nicole looking through various cabinets in the house. Anais asks her what she is doing. She then replies that it is no single space for a vase. She tries saying that its a beautiful present from Granny Jojo and she likes it very much. The kids deny it and Richard comes in and reveals she was trying to hide it. Nicole then gives up trying to hide the fact. Darwin questions why she accepted it in an awkward way. She then say adults sometimes have to lie sometimes, and by sometimes, all the time for absolutely everything, and to never show feeling because its impolite, sit on them until they die, and bury them with you like the ancient Egyptians. Everyone then says they got lame presents by Granny Jojo. This makes the realization that she is giving her unwanted presents and pretending its generosity. Gumball then suggests that Nicole should break the vase and pretend it's an accident. She disagrees since it would make her a bad role model, but then realizes that kids can make those mistakes, so she convinces the kids to destroy the vase themselves.
The kids decide to throw it off the attic. After trying some cool sayings, they they throw it. However, the vase instead breaks the cement. Gumball then decides to squishes the vase in the shed. Instead, the shed breaks in half. Darwin decides to hit it like a pinata. Instead, the vase hits all three of the kids. Darwin tries to smash it with a mallet. It backfires and the mallet hits him repeatedly. Anais tries launching at a tree. It slices the tree and falls on her. Gumball tries getting it run over by a truck. It hits the truck and the truck is flipped over. Gumball then tries putting it in the mail marked fragile. The mailman decides to kick the package around and put through a mail slot. The package is revealed to have a tablet Gumball asked Nicole for his birthday. The mailman then delivers another package revealed to be the vase. They then decide to give the vase to Richard in hopes he will drop it, but he doesn't. The kids give up since it is indestructible. They imagine how the vase is with them for the rest of their lives: Gumball going to prom with the vase, Anais having the vase in her graduation picture, and Darwin calling it the best friend he ever had as he died. Soon, an ad for the Elmore Wrecking Yard appears and they decide that's how they destroy it.
In the Rainbow Factory, Granny Jojo calls Nicole and says she needs the vase back because it contains the ashes of Louie's pet python, Roosevelt. Nicole, suspecting the kids smash it, comes home with supplies to fix the vase, but she couldn't find the kids. She asks Richard where the kids are, but he doesn't know. After hearing lyrics Richard was singing from the ad, Nicole realizes they're at the wrecking yard, and rushes off.
The kids arrive at the wrecking yard. At first, the owner doesn't let them in due to safety reasons, but after Gumball gives an inspirational speech, he lets them in. They put the vase in a car. The car is to be attracted to a magnet and dropped into a crusher. The crane is activated, but Nicole comes in and tries to stop them. Thinking she is supposed to be sarcastic, they break the machine. Nicole then rushes to get the vase. She gets it, but the vase injures her in the process.
Back at the house, Granny Jojo claims the vase. Nicole hides the fact she asks the kids to break it as she gives it. However, Granny Jojo gives her another vase thinking Nicole will like it. When Granny Jojo leaves, the kids break it, and dust is released. Thinking this could possibly Roosevelt's ashes, they all agree to think it was dust, ending the episode.
