These are all the relationships Tobias has with other characters in the show.

Family

Rachel

TheParty3

Tobias and his sister.

Rachel is Tobias' older sister. They do not get along, as shown in "The Party." Rachel screams at him and calls him and his friends "old babies," and Tobias blackmails her into letting them come to her party. However, it is unknown if they have any actual issues with each other or they are simply dysfunctional siblings.

Jackie

Moms21

Tobias and his mom cheating in "The Mothers."

Tobias and his mom seem pretty close. In "The Tape" after being embarrassed by his failed attempt at flirting with Masami, he calls his mom to pick him up early. In "The Mothers," Tobias says his mom is the best against Banana Joe's and Gumball's. In the mom-off that follows, he cooperates with his mom in cheating. However, in the end, he tears up her mother's day card for losing. Though she loses, they (the whole family) are seen waiting happily for Sluzzle Dude in "The Lie." In "The Line," he attacks her. In "The Anybody," Jackie and her husband celebrates Tobias' birthday, Jackie sang Happy Birthday for him. Even though that is Clayton who is disguised as him.

Harold

Tobias and Harold.

Unlike his son, Harold seems to be more quiet and reserved. Despite this, he and his son seem to have a healthy relationship. They are seen together in "The Curse" and "The Lie." In "The Anybody", Harold and Jackie are celebrating Tobias' birthday, even though that is Clayton who is disguised as him. Harold can also be strict to his son. As shown in "The Points," Harold blocked his credit card after Tobias spent fifteen thousand dollars on made-up video game weapons.

Friends

Rob

Tobias and Rob get along in "The Spinoffs."

Rob hung out with Tobias throughout "The Party," suggesting that he might be a good friend of Tobias'. Moreover, he is one of Rob's few remaining friends after his turn to villainy, as they appear to get along in "The Spinoffs," where Rob is impressed by Tobias' acting, even though he inadvertently causes him pain after he tells William to speak louder, causing William to unleash destructive psychic yells.

Juke

S4E35 The Slap 53

Tobias slaps Juke's butt in "The Slap"

Tobias and Juke are friendly towards each other, and this is seen when they are shown many times playing basketball together. One instance was in "The Storm" when the ball they are playing with accidentally hits Gumball, and makes him kiss Carmen. They are also seen playing together in the pool in "The Cringe."

Leslie

The Slap 024

Tobias high-five with Leslie, and slapping his butt.

Tobias and Leslie seem to be somewhat good friends, although Tobias sometimes annoys him, as he does most of his schoolmates. They often chat together at school. Arguably their most positive interaction was Tobias saving Leslie's life in "The Slap" when he begins to choke, for which Leslie appears very grateful.

Love interests

Penny

Tobiaspenny3

Tobias and Penny dancing in "The Butterfly."

Like Gumball, Tobias has a crush on Penny. Unlike Gumball who was always shy around Penny (up until "The Shell"), Tobias was always more confident in his abilities to woo her, though Penny does not return Tobias' feelings for her because she only has them for Gumball. This is shown in "The Knights" where Tobias challenges Gumball for Penny's hand. Tobias' attraction to Penny is evidenced again in "The Butterfly" where he shows her his dance move called "the chick magnet." She is already in a relationship with Gumball at this point and the way she puts it is that it goes really well with her dance move, which she shows him, telling him it is called "the bug spray."

In "The Test," Tobias makes a move on Penny by asking her out on a dinner date. They are also holding hands together. This was due to the fact that he stole Gumball's life when Gumball attempted to become more popular.

Masami

Test Wink

Tobias ask her out on a date.

Tobias always tries to date Masami. In "The Tape", in which he attempts to chat up Masami only to end up embarrassed. In "The Move," Tobias flirts with Masami causing her to slap him with a book. In "The Slap," Tobias told Leslie that Masami winked at him in the morning. Even though Masami just blinking. In "The Test," Tobias asked her out on a date.

Practically every girl at Elmore Junior High

Throughout the events of "The Move" Tobias attempts to chat up numerous girls after the other, each of which rejects him for his repulsive arrogance and vanity. Beforehand to this, it is shown how much he views himself as a "chick magnet" even though no girl ever shows any sign of attraction to him, as shown in episodes like "The Tape." However, he does show distaste towards several girls (and Leslie) in "The Pressure," where he tries to cut down their treehouse. He is sometimes shown hanging out or playing sports with various girls, implying that he has a friendly relationship with them as long as he is not flirting with them.

The only girls in his class that Tobias has never hit on under his own free will are Sussie, Molly, Tina, and Jamie.

Frenemies

Gumball

TheKnights70

Tobias and Gumball fighting for Penny in "The Knights."

Tobias seems to have an on-and-off friendship with Gumball. In "The Third," he becomes Darwin and Gumball's friend for twenty dollars but ends up ignoring Gumball and hanging out with Darwin instead. When Gumball and Darwin reunite at Tobias' house, Tobias asks if he can play with them, which both of them deny.

In "The Quest," Tobias ignores Gumball's threat and tosses Anais' stuffed doll out of the bus' window. In "The Knights," they "dueled" for Penny's hand.

In "The Slap," Gumball is shocked and disappointed that he is excluded from the butt-slap and is merely given a high-five. Throughout the episode, Gumball attempts to get Tobias to slap his butt. At the end of the episode, Tobias finally slaps Gumball on his butt. However, Gumball slaps him back on the cheek and angrily storms off, and Tobias facepalms.

In “The One,” Tobias desperately wants to be Gumball's best friend and tries to destroy his other friends over it.

Darwin

One Couch

Tobias trying to eliminate Darwin in"The One."

Tobias was a good friend to Darwin in "The Third," but this may have been because he was paid twenty dollars to do so. In "The Pressure," he tries to stop Darwin from kissing Masami alongside Banana Joe. In "The One," Tobias tries to kill Darwin by dropping a couch on him, so as to become Gumball's closest friend. He does not help Darwin at all, even after giving up on his friend-killing goals.

Carrie

One Redeath

Tobias imagines brutally attacking Carrie to move up the list of Gumball's friends.

It seems that Carrie might be frenemies with Tobias as well, as they can be seen hanging out a few times. However, Carrie appears to find him annoying. In "The One," Tobias imagines brutally attacking Carrie to move up the list of Gumball's friends, not appearing to feel any remorse.

Banana Joe

One BadTouch

Tobias imagines attacking Joe.

Tobias seems to be a frenemy to Banana Joe, because sometimes they are seen together, and other times Tobias mocks him. In "The Pressure," they were the two Pals Before Gals members who kept up with their pact. Later in "The Club," they are both seen playing around in a friendly way in the football club. In "The Promise," it is mentioned that Tobias insulted Banana Joe's mom. In "The Mothers" they have a competition to see who is the best mother, and Tobias cheats, annoying Gumball, Darwin, and Banana Joe. They are seen together being sarcastic towards Gumball and Darwin in "The Worst."

In "The One," Tobias imagines brutally attacking Joe to move up the list of Gumball's friends, not appearing to feel any remorse.

Idaho

MysteryChase

Tobias, Idaho, and Anton are chasing Gumball.

Idaho and Tobias have hung out many times in episodes, but on the other hand, in "The Sock" Idaho had a party and did not invite Tobias because he does not like him, making him angry. In "The Mystery" Tobias uses Idaho to attack Gumball, showing little concern for Idaho's safety. In "The Slap" Tobias called Idaho "brotato," implying that they are still friends, although in "The Potato" it is shown that Idaho hates that nickname.

Ocho

WhiteNoise

They're hanging out in "The Stories"

Tobias and Ocho have a complicated relationship, as they are seen hanging out in "The Stories" and in "The Worst," but in "The Uncle" Tobias seems to be afraid of Ocho, as when he bumps into him he runs away in fear.

Clayton

Moves39

Clayton knocks Tobias out with the "finger-touching heart-disintegrating move."

Though they are not seen hanging out so much, in "The Move" Tobias reveals that Clayton had told him many things (most of which were lies). Before he finds out that Clayton has been lying, he seems to respect and even look up to Clayton, even though this is only based on his lies. Even after, like Gumball and Darwin, he seems friendly enough to Clayton until he knocks him out with the "finger-touching heart-disintegrating move."

In "The Anybody," Clayton morphs into Tobias and replaces him on his birthday, causing him to cry.

Bobert

The Candidate (4)

Tobias hits Bobert with one of the locker doors.

Tobias and Bobert's friendship did not always get along well. In "The Robot," Tobias calls him robo-dork. But their relationship had improved. They eat lunch together at cafetaria, as shown in "The Recipe" and "The Saint." They cheers Gumball and Darwin in "The Words."

In "The One," Tobias imagines brutally attacking Bobert to move up the list of Gumball's friends, not appearing to feel any remorse. In "The Candidate," Tobias hits Bobert with one of the locker doors. In "The Spinoffs," they are seen getting along.
