Doppelgänger is a fictional video game, based on Street Fighter, that is first shown in the arcade in the episode "The Name."

Season 3

• "The Name": Its debut. Gumball and Darwin play it at Funland. Later, Gumball uses it to kill Zach in his subconscious.

Season 4

• "The Blame": Felicity unplugs it when video games are banned.
• "The Compilation": It appears in the background during Ocho's segment of "Weird Like You And Me."

Season 6

• "The Silence": The characters appear on a poster.

  • This may be intentional, as a reference to the meaning of the word "doppelgänger": a double. However, "doppelgänger" specifically refers to a double of a person.
• The two characters in the game are identical apart from their color schemes. This alludes to how Zach and Gumball are two sides of the same person.
