The game is, as the title suggests, a character creator. You create your own character by following seven steps.
Step one is selecting which method you want to use to create your character's body. There are three methods: you can either take a picture with a webcam, upload the picture from your computer, or browse a selection of preloaded images. The first two methods immediately advance you to the third step.
Step two only occurs if you chose to browse the selection of preloaded pictures. There are fifty images available for your character's body.
Step three is scaling and rotating the picture you chose. You can rotate it fluidly 360°, stretch it horizontally or vertically, compress it horizontally or vertically, and enlarge or shrink it.
Step four is cutting out the part of the picture that you want to use for the body. Oftentimes the body you want to use isn't a square - it's a shape with an unnecessary background to it. The tool used is pretty much just the free select tool in Photoshop or GIMP.
Step five is cramming body parts and accessories onto the body you chose. Many of the body parts are used in the show - there are Penny's legs and Mr. Small's arms, to name a few. You must choose one set of eyes, a mouth, a pair of arms, a pair of legs, and an accessory. They can be arranged however you want on the body.
Step six is creating a name for your character. You can only select a combination of three preselected words for the name; you cannot type your own.
Step seven is submitting and/or saving your work. To submit your work to the gallery to be viewed by the world, you need a MyCN account. This is not required to save your creation as a wallpaper. For the wallpaper, you can select one of four backgrounds for your character to appear in.
You can also play with your character (along with characters from other people) in the gallery section. An account is not required to play with other people's characters. There are five effects to choose from. The first is the shake and bake, in which the character does a Charleston while Because We're Men plays. Next is jazz hands, where the character does jazz hands while the opening theme of the show plays. Third is zap attack, where Masami drops a thunderbolt on the character. Fourth is hands in the air, where the rave song in "The Party" plays as the character does a funky dance. Fifth is side to side, in which the character does a kiddie dance while the quirky song from "The Microwave" plays.
While playing with the effects, you can rate the character as either cool (good) or fool (bad). You can also download it as a wallpaper in the same way as in step seven of the creation process.
