Cartoon Network Anything is an app for iOS and Android devices. Many Cartoon Network shows are featured in it with games and clips, including The Amazing World of Gumball. It was originally released on October 10, 2014.
The game consists of several mini-games. The objective in each is different; some require the player to simply watch a short video clip, while others are more involved, such as navigating around obstacles, or tapping characters as they appear on the screen.
Each mini-game lasts anywhere from ten seconds to half a minute, after which, a results screen appears. From the results screen, the player swipes left to move to the next game. The player has no control over which mini-game they play next, though duplicates are rare.
Mini-games featuring Gumball
It should be noted that these are not the official names for the mini-games, and also that the other TV series that are featured in Cartoon Network Anything have games almost identical to these. For example, Adventure Time has its own version of "Whack," which is identical in gameplay to Gumball's version, just with a different setting and characters.
The player whacks various Elmore Junior High students as they emerge from lifesavers in the pool.
The player rubs a still of the show on the screen, revealing a different picture from the same scene of the show.
The player is given an image of one of the characters from the show with a missing body part, and is tasked with hand-drawing what s missing (or doodle anything they want onto the character).
A random clip from the show will be shown.
Gumball, Darwin, Anais, and Richard are all shown as balloons, and the player must tap them before they go up into the sky and float up off the screen.
This game is based off of a scene from "The Helmet." The player will tap the screen so Gumball launches a pea. The pea will fly through the air, and has to try and land in as many areas making it bounce back up as possible.
Richard has to deliver pizzas to certain people. It is based off of "The Job."
The player has to launch the living fries from "The World" onto the windowsill, and throw enough that don't land on the floor.
- In the slow motion clip featuring "The Storm," Gumball says "bimbo," while it is still edited to "coward" in U.S. TV airings.
