Alligators on a Train

Alligators on a Train is a movie in The Amazing World of Gumball that appeared in "The DVD." Nicole rented the movie from Laser Video for Gumball to watch at home.

In "The DVD," Gumball unintentionally uses the wrong side of a scrubby sponge to clean the Alligators on a Train disc, and scratches it to the point of being nonreturnable after Darwin thought it was a pizza-cutter, and got it messy with cheese. Gumball then panics, and tosses it into the air. The disc falls into the sink's waste disposal, and gets shredded to pieces. With the DVD destroyed, Gumball and Darwin decided to make a fake video of Alligators on a Train in order to "save their butts," which ran for a surprisingly short time, and even more suspiciously, every name in the credits is one of them, because Gumball didn't want other people to have all the glory.

Trivia

• Apparently, Gumball has watched Alligators on a Train 72 times before "The DVD."
• Alligators on a Train is an obvious parody of Snakes on a Plane.
• Larry exaggerates (for effect) by saying that the fake copy is five seconds long. Technically, the video goes for 17 seconds, as well as credits.
• When Darwin is using Alligators on a Train as the pizza-cutter, one can see that it is actually a HD DVD Disc, which cannot be played in most DVD readers, meaning that the Wattersons' DVD player is a rare model.
